Thank You Postcard Writers!

Thank you to all the postcard writers who made this election matter with personal messages about the importance of voting. 

Hi Postcard Writers,

You outdid yourselves. Together we wrote 253,000 postcards and counting for 51 candidates that are being mailed this week to Virginia voters up and down the state. This is almost twice as many as we mailed in the last off-year election. 

This brings our 2019 general election postcard writing program to a close. When we read your emails, look at your photos posted on Facebook, and attend postcard parties, we are humbled by the incredible postcard enthusiasm. 

Thank you for everything you are doing to help flip Virginia blue.

PPS: Election Night Results – We want to share with you our favorite way to follow election returns. When the polls close at 7pm on Nov. 5th, start monitoring the results page on the Virginia Department of Elections website. Right now the page lists the candidates on the ballot. When the polls close on Nov. 5th, you can watch the returns come in live. We find the local news is usually 5-10 minutes behind the live results. Here’s the link, Virginia Election Results.
